The hardest to find Singer attachments seem to be
1. Penguin walking foot
2. Style-o-Matic foot
3. Double Thread embroidery attachment
4. Single Thread Embroidery attachment
5. Fagoter (full three piece set)

The Fashion Aid case is also highly sought after.

For the most part, the rest can be picked up for under $100 (unless you want to pay more, there are always sellers asking for the moon).

Congratulations, Cathy! Enjoy your new treadle. Please post again after you use it and tell us how you like it.

I have a New Home treadle very much like yours, perfectly functioning, and in pristine condition. Mine is 1912, I believe. It has the quarter-sewn oak cabinet, very nice. I am in a quandary about it because I love it, especially the cabinet, but don't have the room for it. I need to let go of several machines for space reasons and am having a hard time deciding which ones.

Yes, those Penguin attachments are pricey. You can get a generic walking foot for MUCH less. One of these days, though, I would like to have that Penguin foot. I have all the other items you mention except the case, which I don't especially want.

Off topic, were you looking for a 306? There's a BIN on ebay for $99 + shpg. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Singer-306k-...item565df2bb1c
