Default "New" machine

I have just acquired an 1874 Singer treadle machine! It needs a belt, easy, but I would like to "restore" it to it's original beauty. Someone had decided that it needed to be repainted to make it look better, but all the decals have been covered. Mechanically, it moves very smoothly. I'm soooo new to this, I need to know where to acquire information and decals for this machine. The dome cover is missing, but the rest of the cabinet looks great. Is there a site that I can go to .....besides all of you experts on the QB... where I can get more information?
Thanks for our help!!
