My first vintage machine was a 301A I bought for $75. It is a great little 16 lb. straight stitch sewing machine that has the capability of lowering the feeddogs. As more people find out what a great machine it is, the price keeps climbing, but affordable ones are still out there. There also is a great Facebook page you might want to check out for more info.
