Red face Not sure this is vintage but ... new Janome

This followed me home during large item pickup week - Janome 641/632, Fancy stitches, makes buttonholes, can drop feed dogs for FMQ, detachable table, case, manual, zipper foot, bobbin case but no bobbins and free! I teach 4-H members to sew but also supply machines. Had bobbins which fit from "another SM purchase last year. Cleaned it, oiled it, put needle in correctly (it was in backwards), threaded it and adjusted tension - sews perfectly.
Anyone know anything about this machine? Can't find anything on the internet. This makes 7 plus two in Alberta.

Looks nice! I tend to like Janomes.

Did you open it up to check for plastic gears? In my mind, that's one of the things that makes me feel a machine is vintage - all metal gears.

There is the pattern cam stack(?) which is plastic/nylon but the rest seem to be metal.
BTW it will not "zig" to the right when set to zigzag but the other stitches seem to be right. Any suggestions?
