Default oh the humanity!

I went to the antique mall with my mother this afternoon. One stop shopping for all of your overpriced sewing machine needs, I think I saw 7-8 machines, maybe 1 was priced below an eBay high price. So, lots of things to leave behind. Then there was this, my very first repurposed sewing machine in the wild.

Looks like the drilled thru the bobbin cover. The rest of the machine might be salvageable even though any original finish is long gone under the flat black paint. I also like old woodworking machinery and hand tools. You should see what people do to those as well.

I guess someone wanted good lighting on their sewing machine pretty badly.

It was probably the best priced sewing machine in the place. I think it was about $50. Except that $40 unnamed treadle that might be a Davis, although it had the worst rust issues I have ever seen.
