I would get it while you can. I love mine. I stopped in to buy some bobbins for my viking (it is a lily) and was told that they can sell some parts but no longer sell the machines. The viking factory in sweeden has been closed down and bought out by a chineese investment group. they are now made in china which means quality will be crappy from now on. he named four which had been bought by the group and I can only remember viking as I was so shocked. oh, pffat (Not sure on that spelling) is another and he said it will no longer be imported to US. Here I was considering buying another machine with a longer throat to quilt with. Mine is 7" and makes it tight on a large qult.

I have 2 Vikings also. Mine is the Lily that I have had about 12 years (I think?) and never a lick of trouble with it! My 2nd one was my Mom's which she bought used in the late 60's. When she passed away my step father was going to junk it; said it didnt work anymore. I brought it home gave it a good cleaning and it works like a charm. It has the cams for different stitches.
You shouldnt be disappointed if you get it! ESPECIALLY if it is FREE!!!!
