Default "Passed it up" remorse...

Today I didn't pick up a Singer 15, nearly mint condition, in a #40 mahogany cabinet (pretty good condition), for $25. It needed a spool pin and a bobbin winder tire. Marked down from $175. I could have justified the price for the cabinet alone. Must.not.go.back....

I would have already been back, and I'm not even a Singer gal lol.

Why did you pass?
That one would have came home with me. I almost never see 15s priced that low.

It cost me more than that to ship the rusted locked up 15 (head only) that I bought on E bay for a buck.

I would be back too. They are good for free motion work. Not that I do any, but would still have to have it. The price is better than good. I even have a 15 already. See how bad it gets. I bought a Rocketeer today and didn't need it either. It is a sweet machine. It is hopeless.

WIChix - you have disappointed me! That poor machine, just waiting for you, and you passed it by . . .

However, if you already have 3 nice 15-91's, two really nice 15-30's and a couple of beat up 15-1's, then maybe leaving it for someone else is a good idea.

Gah! I couldn't have passed that up. Some machines are worth grabbing even if you already have them!

I commend your resolve. Too many possessions becomes a burden. Think I'll check CL and see what's available

That was about 3:30 today...store is open tomorrow, too. I COULD buy it for the cabinet and ship the head out to one of you...
