The perfect "accesory for me"

I love this - I just knew I had to have it when I saw it - and lucky for me noone else felt it was worth near what I'd have paid to get it.

I've been so busy with other stuff, haven't had much time to get back to sorting and catolging my attachments. Here are some pictures I took this morning.

These are also ones I still need to go through. I got through most of the newer Greist top clamp, but have a lot of older and side clamp ones to go through.

And of course - I've got a bunch down in my office too - DH wanted them off the kitchen table (at least the half we sit at to eat).

Very little of that is Singer - most of my Singer stuff is displayed/stored in the quilting room (was the dining room -that is why it's got a chandelier)

The sets on this wall have all been photo'ed and cataloged. They go with the machines on this wall. I also have sets for each machine stored with each machine that is in a cabinet.

the main point - I have a lot of extras - and in my search for the more elusive items, I keep ending up with more . . .
DH and I have plans to start on the building later this fall.

Everybody should have a chandelier in their sewing room. Did you know there is a yarn shop in MPLS with a huge, Phantom of the Opera huge chandelier that came from a disgraced car dealer's sheriff's auction for a pittance? Love the sign!

Nammie - I'm only about 4 miles north of I 90 - a bit east of Mitchell. When we get the building done, we'll have it set up so people can come and see/sew on the machines. I've worked at collecting examples of many Mfg machines - from 1890 to 1940 or there abouts. I'll let SteveH stick with the earlier ones, I'm only collecting ones that "look" like people expect a sewing machine to look like - well, except for the chain stitchers, but that is a design that was used up until about 1940 . . .
I don't think I'll ever have much for sale - the main goal is education (and corrupting the young by teaching them how to quilt LOL!!)
