I think the Atlas was made by Brother.

Ok, I got the Pinky. There is a bit yellowing on some parts of the finish, but it still looks very good overall.
I usually never haggle but the bobbin case was missing and the motor was making a very clunky sound, so I offered 20$. The seller was just happy to get rid of it, so it was ok for him. I'm pretty sure oiling, cleaning and changing the motor carbon brush will take care of the clunky sound. Now I hope the spoked wheel I have on hand will fit... my daugter would be so happy to have this one!
Pictures will follow next week, when the cleaning job will be done.

Congrats. That is so nice that it will have a good home! The yellowing will come off easily. Esp with an enamel finish like that, I am pretty sure yo can use toothbrush and detergent.

Look forward to seeing photos! :-)

Now, ProfAnnie, just run along and get that Green Berneen! Sooooooooooooo gorgeous.

Cecilia, aren't you looking for a Grasshopper? You are really fond of green ones The Bernie may sit for a while, being 150$. You have time to run from Toronto

LOL!

A Pink Atlas and a Green Hopper are about all a girl could ever hope for, really. Eh?

Well, maybe a hand crank also.

Dang too bad the ad is already gone. I'd love to see what the machine looks like.
