Steve, that one is not a 77 and that's about the extent of my knowledge LOL
Is there a serial number on the right hand side on the base? I think the first 2 numbers might indicate the model?

I will see if my "arrival assessment" photos show anything. Currently it is my DD's Computer desk so it's a hassle to open up... I'll look.

Do these White Rotary machines take special needles, or will the standard 15x1 needles work?

Joe, how do you get the Singer decals to look so good? My crinkle 66-18 (1946) decal is not as vivid as yours. Plus I can't get the decal on top of the arm to show at all. I saw it in a certain light, but seems like it vanished.

Mrs Finch,

I clean my crinkle machines with sewing machine oil and a soft cloth. That works for me, others use other methods. The oil cleaning seems to bring out the decals.

Also my camera seems to pick up the reflective nature to the decals and increase their brilliance.

I think it might be a White Rotary Model 43. According to my records, there was a twin to it called the White Domestic Rotary 151, so maybe it’s a 151.

ETA: The serial number will tell you. It should start with either 43X or 151X......
Here's a 151X....

I stumbled upon this machine this past weekend. I am pretty sure the paint job is original, but I have never seen anything like it before. It is badged as a New Home, Rockford, Illinois.

I'd love to clean it up and get it running now, but there are several other machines in the queue ahead of it.

I believe that is going to be a New Home LLC Rotary. The green crinkle paint is original, but it does take an odd CC1221 needle. The bobbin winds on the end of the motor shaft using a cool little “swing-out” thread guide.
