Calanda 3000?

Hello friends, I'm brand new here so I hope this is the correct place to ask this! I stumbled across a vintage machine on Facebook marketplace that I was considering buying. It's not in the best shape, but it does seem to run perfectly fine from the video the seller posted. A cursory Google search tells me it's similar to the Pfaff 130, but otherwise I cannot seem to find a thing about it. It's being sold for $50 which seems like a steal. Thoughts? I was hoping to buy a machine of a similar style/era since they're heavy duty, but I have no idea if it's actually any good. Anyone know what that strange doohickey, handle looking thing on it is?

I believe that handle looking thing you refer to is a knee lever attached to the foot control that runs the machine. Light yellow, foreground. Under the bottom of the cabinet there should be a bracket that the foot control can be put in that allows you to operate the control with the handle looking thing against your knee.
I don't know anything about that machine model, and would assume it may be hard to find parts for. I know I maybe a cheap skate, but I think $50 is a bit high. I have received a few name brand machines for free.

Thank you for your perspective! That's good to know, it might be more effort than it's worth in that case. I'll keep looking around for a machine.
