Thank you so much. I went to SewClassic and have sent them an email.

Thank You,
I looked up friction drive wheel and it looks like it is the right thing, as this machine doesn't have a belt.I don't understand where it will go on the machine. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks Again,
Jackie

Isn't this the "I love Lucy" sewing machine?

Hi,
The motor turns and doesn't move up when turned on. I can move it up and down as it is loose. When I move it up it will connect with the wheel and will sew OK but I have to hold it up. I took it apart thinking I could fix it as I don't know if the moving up and down is a good thing. It doesn't come away from the machine so I put it back together. It is the same as before. When took it apart there were 2 small springs with square shaped plastic on the ends under 2 of the screws. I put them back as they were (I think). Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for posting this. It helps me to remember how to thread this machine. :-)

The vertical arrow ponts to the drive wheel. The Horizontal arrow points to the screw that will let you take it off.

Thank you again. I took this part off and took it to Ace hardware to see what they had. The guy put some rubber tape around the end of it. When it connects with the big wheel it works. It is the part at the beginning of your horizontal arrow that moves up and down. When I hold that part up it works and it's hard to sew while holding it up. Is it supposed to move like that? This is the first antique sewing machine I have owned. Can you please explain how the part you showed would go on or in? Thanks for your patience.
