No this is the original hand wheel to this machine and is a nine spoke wheel. Most hand cranks use a 9 spoke and is about 1 and 1/8" between spokes. My ruler is not very good. The extra hand wheel you see on the table is one that goes with another hand crank. I am lucky to have about six original singer hc machines.

So glad you snatched it up. Restoring it will be fun.

Glenn, I was actually wondering how wide the part of the hand crank that goes in between the spokes is. The part is about 3/4" on my reproduction hand crank and has a rubber band like piece around it, It is approximately 5/8" above the stop motion knob.

The width of the finger is 5/8" to 3/4" on the original singer HC depending on what it is wrapped in leather or the rubber thing. It is about the same size as the reproduction HC. I have some with leather and some with the rubber band thing.
