I hope someone can help me identify this machine and also locate a manuel. Thanks,Gina |
I'm no help, but that's a cool machine! Looks like a knock off of a Featherweight.

I am no help, but really cool machine!!!!!

That's a nice looking machine. A lightweight straight stitch machine is always a pleasure to have for quilting. It is probably Japanese made from 50s or 60s. You probably won't find a manual, but I'm not sure you need one for a SS machine. It looks like the threading is pretty straight forward and any low shank feet will fit.
Take off all easily removable parts, clean and oil everything that moves or might move - don't forget the underside. Thread it and see how it sews. How is the wiring? If you don't want it, it can come live with me. |
Looks like a knock off of the FW. Good find I bet she is a great little machine.

Fun find! Hope you get her cleaned up and sewing!

Elaine says: Need more pics. Front, Back, ends top, and move back a bit so the whole machine gets in the pic.
And it's a SEWMOR FEATHER-LITE 110 ROCKET. :D I know I shouldn't be a smart alleck. That is a very interesting machine. Had I seen it I would have ripped my pants pocket off getting my wallet out to buy it. ( I have a 'thing' for SEWMORs. ) I'm not sure where to get a manual for it though. I checked Relics and they didn't have one. Joe |
Thanks to all. I kinda figured it was a knock-off Featherweight or 301, since it looks like the 301. The wiring is a little brittle, and the light goes out if not in the right position. I will have to replace that. I thought it was a cute little thing when I bought it, thought I would take it to sew days with my guild.
I'll let y'all know how she does when I get her all cleaned up and oiled. Thanks again,Gina |
I'm so glad you stole that machine. WOW. Have some fun with that one.

Great find...I'd like to see it side by side with the 221-.
