Love it when the quilt coordinates with the sewing machine! Working on a bento box.

I like making Bento Box quilts.

I don't know what a Bento Box quilt is..... But I do like the fabric you're using.

Mrs. Finch, Those fabrics are pretty. I like how your green fabric matches the machine. Please show off your Bento Box quilt once you have completed it. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Well, I have another quilt that I made with my vintage machines..... I mostly use the vintage machines these days. I used the 1947 FW 221 for the piecing, the 1916 127 HC for all the straight line quilting and the 1955 15-91 for the FMQ work around the flowers. This is another quilt that I started several years ago and I'm trying to finish up all the UFOs I have...... 1 left.

That is lovely, Jean. You have such an eye for color and placement.
I'm so glad FMQ on the 15 is working out for you. |
Nanna, So So pretty. Glad you are able to do your sewing now. What do you have next that you are trying to complet?

Jean,
Your quilt is beautiful! I like your colors. You do beautiful work! I also do much of my sewing with vintage/antique machines. Last night I was hemming some cloth napkins with a my Pfaff 60 treadle. I kinda like binding quilts with one of the treadles too, its just finding tables to put around my treadle to support the quilt. I was binding a skateboard quilt for a boy, its one of my charity quilts; using a 1955 Pfaff 60 treadle. Sharon W. |
