I haven't posted in awhile because I've been working on a hand applique quilt.... no use of vintage machines at all. But I'm taking a short break from that to finished a couple of smaller quilts. This one is for my great-great nephew born in January. It measures 42"x52". The blocks are 9" with 2" sashing. I did all the piecing on my 1953 Singer 221 and the quilting on my 1942 Singer 15-91. Those are my go-to machines. And, I have finished the binding and label now but this is a picture after I quilted it, before I bound it.

Nanna, that is really a cute quilt for a little boy. Did a wonderful job too! By the way how is your arm?

Oh, how sweet of you to ask. It's doing great. I did some difficult therapy to get it back but you'd never know I broke it.... of course when it's going to rain I know it.
|
So glad to hear that. Again I love your quilt and the colors.

Amazing quilt! So perfect for a little boy. Glad to hear your therapy worked and you are on the mend.
|
Very cute quilt! Somehow I missed that you broke your arm. Glad to see it's better.

Double Irish Chain quilt top. (I'll finish the corners today, but it's supposed to rain, so I snapped this yesterday.)
