Just bought a 301 in a cabinet. It needed somework. I payed $50. Some extra feet, sewing supplies and booklet.

That was a good price to pay for a 301. Especially with it in a cabinet!

I have a 401a that I paid $35.00 for a few years ago. The old lady across the street was downsizing and sold a lot of stuff at an auction. Mine is in pristine condition with all the attachments and the manual. I don't use it as much as I should but it sews great, the stitches are perfect. I love the sound of the motor.

I just bought a 401A freshly serviced (oiled, greased, tension checked etc.) with original 5 cams, other attachments and manual for $50. It's in excellent condition and I'm very happy with it.
I'm looking at a 301 long-bed from the same seller for $100-$125. She's doing the service now and couldn't give me a firm price. I know if you get on e-Bay they sometimes just take right off. Good luck! They look like lovely machines. I'm surprised you can bear to part with them! |
Sorry everyone, posted before reading the whole thread.....duh!
