Seems I'm behind posting a couple of machines, so Charlee keeps reminding me. :-)

Here's the Lotus I almost picked up once but didn't. I was looking for a machine with a motor boss to convert to a handcrank for use on the front porch or while dh is wetting a line (fishing, for you non-anglers). Her case was scanky and didn't even belong to her, it was a 'Morse'.

Went back again to the mall another day and resisted her again. On our lastest foray to the antique mall (not our local haunt) dh surprised me by picking her up. He said 'she's just too pretty to leave her and I know you'll work your magic on her." <3

Here she is almost done with her cleaning. I didn't mean to give her the go-all the other day but once I got started I couldn't stop myself. She was proving to be a good looker. The bobbin winder is terribly dirty and gunky. It is still off because I had to have a helper getting the screw that detaches the winder unit from the belt cover loosened. I'll get that cleaned up after this weekend. Bridal shower wins.

She is missing her slide plate and has one very small spot on her bed's center decal that is silver. The presser foot lever has tiniest bit of rust but other than that, she is in very nice condition.

The bobbin area was loaded so the lady was definately used. I should mention I performed a motorectomy on her. The motor and the light had the very, very old plugs (round ones :-( She will be used in a treadle.

Enjoy,
deb
Someday I'll get all the ladies in the vintage and antique enthusiast photos forum.

She is looking really spiffy!

Where did you get the base for her? Does hubby make them for you?
