Jan, I think that's a ruffler foot that you see in the first photo...isn't this machine just to die for? I love it!
Mishnjim will correct me if I'm wrong, I think the long wooden things are for making bobbin lace? Or for weaving... |
What a treasure!! That is definitely more unique than the treadles, and how nice to have the extra bobbins with it. You can be proud of that find.

Lovely machine! That shuttle looks alot like the one used for mending commercial fishing nets too.
|
Wow, just beautiful! I'd love to get an old one someday, they are so neat!

Happy Mothers Day to YOU!!! She's a beauty!!! :D:D:D
|
Happy Mother's Day to you and she's definitely a keeper!!

It's not a treadle tho, I think I see a knob on the handwheel? Would be a handcrank, and if that's the case I'm insanely jealous!! ;) The decals look a bit like the "Dark Victorian" decals...what's the serial number on her? |

You're right Linda...there's no such thing as a portable treadle... :) It's a handcrank....and it's gorgeous! (can you tell I'm still drooling? ) |
Charlee....You are so cracking me up.
Well...I guess my hubby did pretty good finding this yesterday, HUH? I really don't know a lot about the older machines but I was pretty excited that it came with all those feet. Another thing that was funny was he told me, "Well it wasn't FREE like the other gal on your forum site got from Craig's list but it's a good price if you want it". Just Love Him To Death!! |
awesome
