:D And nevermind the customs paperwork.

I just received the box I was talking about, it's 11.28KG, or roughly 25lbs when the measurements are cubed (I assure you, I would have noticed 25 lbs a lot more than this box ;) ) I know the irons weigh more than this box, and are bigger in one, possibly 2 dimensions.

We typically disassemble and ship in 2 boxes. One flat that has the side irons and center brace, and a second smaller box with the treadle, flywheel, dress guard, pitman, and all the little bits and pieces. She ships those out and while I know the cost I do not know the shipped weight but I can certainly check.

Thanks for the offer Jennb, but I wouldn't worry about it. Ideally, the next (last) treadle base I find will be intact. I have two right now that need some pretty serious refurbishing, and I'd like the option of treadling a few of the machines that are just heads around here, but that's not a necessity at this point. :)

we need how to sell a sewing machine 101 for some of those people

Wow,.. I'd contribute to that ;) If for no other reason than my sanity would improve. ;)
