We typically disassemble and ship in 2 boxes. One flat that has the side irons and center brace, and a second smaller box with the treadle, flywheel, dress guard, pitman, and all the little bits and pieces. She ships those out and while I know the cost I do not know the shipped weight but I can certainly check.

Thanks for the offer Jennb, but I wouldn't worry about it. Ideally, the next (last) treadle base I find will be intact. I have two right now that need some pretty serious refurbishing, and I'd like the option of treadling a few of the machines that are just heads around here, but that's not a necessity at this point. :)
