Singe 201 - maybe you can't see the black chrome - it doesn't do well in photos.

I don't think I've done much more since Glenn rewired it a bit. It has a wonderful desk table. The front had some sort of tar all over it. It was as if the machine puked. You can sort of see it on the badge. I got a lot of it off. There is even black chrome on the top by the spool pin.

Considering one sold for $920 last night ... this might make a nice "project machine" for someone. I'm not up to the task.

Ok, I have to ask,.. why take the time to drape a table, put the stuff on it, then park your Chevy behind it? It really doesn't add to the photo.... or make people think you're taking care of it..

Oh!! (slapping forehead)!! Black chrome!!! And here I thought he was calling the machine a "blackside" because it came out of a treadle base that was painted black instead the usual brown!!

DOH!!

I wish I could get that much for all those old Singer 15's sitting in my shop.... Look just about that good.

Hey Sue,.. this should clear a bunch up. I haven't gotten my hands on a blackside machine yet, but I have "lots" of attachments, and a crinkle 66.
