Now...in their defense, if they don't know machine values, and don't want to bother to research, it's better to start high and go lower, because it's nearly impossible to start low and go higher!! :D

Here is a "marketing" consideration. What if the $10,000 figure is an attention getter? I bet a whole lot of people looked at the $$ figure just to see what kind of machine would be worth that much. It did elicit some response here on the QB.:D
