I think the 301 owner got confused between the "fully serviced and ready to sew" price and the "been sitting in my basement for 20 years" price.

DH found this one - the price is right . . . though I'm not sure what you'd be getting . . .

You want your house to be as well kept as this house and machine are? :D I need to find out where they were doing their research. Does Fantasy-land HAVE a research department?

My 301 is running great & has 3 quilting feet, two bobbin holders, zipper foot, and all in a lovely cabinet. It must have been serviced recently, it runs like a charm. I was just wondering if it was worth more than $30, not to gloat, but to tell the kids to hang on to it if it is valuable. I will research how to get a manual, probably cost more than the machine!
