"Singer sewing machine. Vintage. I just sanded and repainted the iron legs. I have vin number for people looking who are serious. Asking $200 or best offer."

I wonder if they have a clear title?

"Don't know much about it but it is almost complete. The power cord is missing. It does have the manuel and tons of extras. I need it gone today. I don't have room for it. It has been in storage and needs cleaning, but still in great shape. Asking 150 obo. Please call or text 6825566033."

That has to be one of the fugliest cabinets I've ever seen.

Well of course Manuel is with it: It is near Mexico after all :D

I just bought that buttonholer and it's superb. I actually really like the cabinet: It's art deco and a little different to the usual ones. The machine is a 15, so this combination is actually pretty good. I might offer him $100, or even give him the full price: The buttonholder has to be worth $35.

Well ... I like that style cabinet. I like it better in blonde...but I like the curves.

I also like that style. I have two of them. :)

<snip>
I think that "at least" $2000 might be a hard sell. "

She replied. She said she's selling it for her mother, and the mother set the price but there's some wiggle room.
I suspect that she'll be storing it for her mother for some time, especially with an ad worded that way.

Here's today's: http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-...AdIdZ536397692
"Comes with wooden 6 drawer storage basket. (175.00) Old Singer , portable k99, in case, immaculate condition."

Because showing a machine in a garbage bag with no lid always says "immaculate condition" to me. The "basket" must worth $130+, because I have a hard time selling clean serviced 99s with their cases intact for $50 here.

They cleaned it with the shop vac. I have this elaborate cleaning scheme where they wrap the garage bag around the shop vac and turn it on.... lookie! clean!

But it "work's" and there's lot's of extra's. Yeah, extra apostrophes that make as much sense as a four door sowing machine?

$1232 -- Does that include tax or something?

"Sowing" machine "zigs and zags in all the right places".
