I found that when searching for the singer 500 service manual. It is jpg (photo) files but you can expand each page and print it or save it to file. :) Boy I am telling you that you guys are on it today!!! Billy |

Well, I bid on the Jones machine, but we lost our internet for a few days so I did not get that one! It ended up selling for $62 plus shipping - not bad.
I have been piecing with my new Morse 15 clone (page 929) and I am in love with that machine! It is so quiet - yes, Monica I am using an electric machine! LOL! And, Yes, I perfer my treadles most of the time too! I like to make something with each machine I have! I am still in awe of the workmanship that went into this machine compared to a Singer 15! There are so many features that just are above and beyond the Singer - like the dial on top to drop the feed dogs, the push in oil places instead of holes, the pressure foot release button, and just the overall beauty of the machine itself! I am in love with the clones! We also got my 99 clone - the 'Made in Occupied Japan' machine that was packed so crappy fixed. DH had to glue and put the cabinet back together. Anyway, I have also been piecing with that machine. It sews perfect too. Also a very well made machine, but not in the same class as the 15 clone! Nancy |
