Yesterday(5/29/10) I bought a White VS machine and treadle cabinet, my brother-in-law got it at a yard sale for
$50, the machine has almost no decals left and is missing the front slide plate. The machine and treadle all move freely, so I think I can make it into a usable machine. Sharon W. |
Here is one near you Charlee and it is cheap enough and is in great condition!

There is nothing like sewing on vintage, a tactile experience that is missing from today's machines. I love the smell, the sound, and really enjoy taking care of them. I have had people contact me and I have wound up being able to repair other machines as well. The quality is unsurpassed. I bought a 301 at a rummage sale for 1 dollar, covered in grime, motor hummed, but no needle movement. Took it home, cleaned it inside and out cleaned it again and
