That is a wonderful buy, Kathie. I shall look and see what I have, if anything.

Tommie[/quote] Thank you, Tommie. You are a doll. What is the name of the Iris in your Avatar, it is so beautiful. Kathie

Free to good homes if they haven't been picked up already.

Well, its only an 8 hour drive for me...think I can make it?

Luckily I have a BIL who is a stay-at-home dad in the DFW area, plus he's a great haggler. Saw a $50 FW a couple of weeks ago I was going to send him after. Gone of course!

Everybody here wants an arm and a leg for their "one of a kind antique" sewing machines.

I'd love to see a scan of it!

Miriam, hope this is clear enough to see.

perfect!!! I love it!!!! The worst of it is that none of that stuff has really been improved on to this day. The quality and design sure isn't improved a whole lot.

I was given a Margart sewing machine today. It said made in Japan. It was the size of a F W. What can you tell me about this sewing machine? Hubby took it home when the person realized that her mother-in-law gave it to her to display in her shop. I gave it back :(. The decals were perfect and were really cute flowers. Kathie

Miz Johnnie: a cheap disposable diaper would fit in the bottom of your card board flats fine.

Tommie: Ok I bought the white machine. Now how do I find Katie Farmer or any one else for the treadle cross bar and hinge pins. The wood blocks are broken off but I can fix that. if i can find the rest. I will have to wait for help to get it out of the car. i am in alququerque that's a 12 hour drive for me stright through.
thanks so much

She has a webshots site, arachnaobsession, I think. She belongs to a group Treadleon. If you join that group, I think someone on there can help you. They are very friendly and helpful. Of course, someone on here might be able to as well.
I don't have anything that will help you.
