Well I called on the machine because I'd like to have it to play with! The guy that owns it didn't know anything about it, he bought it a year ago and had never used it. I told him to google his machine and see how it works - it is really cool! I think I lost the machine. The guy that has it sews with his Mother's 'old' machine and didn't think he needed a second machine. I am sure after he sees the u-tube on how interesting that White Fantasy works, he will decide to keep the machine. He said he'd call me, if he still wants to sell it!

Candace, I don't know why it wouldn't be accurate? Even if the fabric is moving back and forth, I think you could still follow a line? Anyway, I love the odd and unusual! I'd love to try sewing with that machine!

Well, if I can only use one, does that also apply to all the machines I have? LOL I sure hope not!

I was wondering why anyone would want to quilt with their FW, then I reminded myself, if one is quilting small sections or blocks (a quilt as you go method) a walking foot would be needed. Otherwise it would be unpleasant to quilt with that small harp space. I did that once with a Janome TB-30; quilted a queen size quilt with it's small harp area. I said never again.

The Alphasew motor will stay there as long as needed. But I shall continue searching for the brush caps until I find one or the hot place freezes over. :D

Joe, tracking the 15 clones, the HA machines, seems to be a puzzle. Here's the one I'm thinking of buying. It's sewing well but the motor is noisy at lower speeds. I have no idea if that's normal. Mine is a Montgomery Wards, but there are all external labels. [ATTACH=CONFIG]310450[/ATTACH]

I spent the afternoon playing with my Necchi Supernova Ultra. Fun!! machine.

You asked me how well does it treadle. Very nicely!!!

I found it very easy to FMQ with after I made some adjustments to the upper tension. I felt the Necchi was easier to use for FMQ than the Singer 15-90. Can't pinpoint why that is so. The Singer is in what I consider to be the better of the two treadles.
I'm tempted to move the Necchi out of the straight-leg and into the treadle that the Singer sits in, just that the Necchi is HEAVY.

The Necchi has tons of decorative stitches that I'm still playing with. I can't say that the decorative stitches are prettier or better than the Singers' 401A or 328k at this point. I guess I'm missing Hank the Tank, my Singer 328k. I turned him back into an e-machine the other night. I might still use him for my decorative binding since there are a couple of stitches that I like from him.

This is turning into a saga, sorry.

Well, you can only use one machine at a time, correct? LOL! I have several set up and move from one to another, but only one at a time. :)
