I'm sorry to hear about Mowgli, Nancy. I hate it when one of my furgirls is hurting. Miriam, I hope things work out with your MIL.
Quick, dumb question. I soaked the Redeye outside and wiped off what kerosene I could. Is it safe to bring it in the house? I don't want to start a fire when the furnace comes on. No, I do not currently have an open fire in the fireplace. I know this sounds ignorant, but I don't deal in such things and my son who could tell me is at work. I'd like to bring it in and wipe it with oil. I would think it would be counterproductive to wash it with Dawn. I don't want it to rust. |

Miriam, my condolenses. Add my prayers to the others. There is strength in collective prayer.

I called my son at work and got my answer. I can bring it in if I can stand the headache from the fumes. Kerosene is like diesel and needs to be compressed to burn and the fumes aren't flammable. I think I will leave it outside for a few hours before I bring it in. I need to walk Cheech and Chong anyway.

OK, Nancy--going to try to post some pics of my Pfaff! No mean remarks about my tubs of fabric "guarding" the machine!!

Pat and I are very sorry for your lost. Give Phil a big hug for us.
