I'm cleaning up my Necchi SuperNova. What can you use to clean the accessory box? Water and a bit of dish soap? I read that they are made of bakelite?

looks like the pic is upside down or something - what is it? It looks like a Chandler Button Machine. Not sure about the model, but it could be a 471. It sews buttons onto clothing. It can be set to 2-hole or 4-hole buttons, but I’m not sure about shank buttons. It’s operated by hand crank, and the machine does a “cycle” of so many stitches to attach the button before cutting the thread.
