Just bought this treadle. Could not talk him down in price despite some rough areas but did talk him into the puzzle box (missing one corner) with the attachments and instruction manuals for the machine and attachments. I also got 2 more boat shuttles and 7 extra bobbins. Attachments altogether out of the puzzle box so hoping the manual shows how to put them in there. Missing some veneer and top has the holes from resting on the head but it is nice. Forgot to get the serial # but the seller said it was a 27-4. Decals are very nice, no pin rash, and they are the pheasants. :) DH doesn't know yet but I'll tell him tomorrow that I spent more of the kids' inheritance. :D Or maybe I added to their inheritance - either way works for me. :D

Wow, he's a quick delter - maybe didn't want to be bugged with extra phone calls. I have it home just not unloaded from van. She is in a 7 drawer cabinet and have yet to look through attachment manual to find out how to put puzzle box back together again. Later tonite maybe or tomorrow.

Will post pictures soon.

Chris, it's fun putting all of the different attachments in the puzzle box. So you got the manual to the puzzle box too? That's great! I got one with mine too. Mine went to a 1904 Singer, but I just got the puzzle box and the manual for it, not the machine. My manual was rolled up when I got it, but is flat and smooth now. I ironed it several times from the front and back, and flattened any pages that were creased. I left it flat with the front down on my little Cut & Press after I ironed both sides and got them hot and let it cool there. It turned out great!
Can't wait to see pictures of what all you got!

I have an Eldridge two spools with a rolled up manual. I would be afraid to iron it for fear it would crumble...

Hello everyone! I am behind a few pages, but need to ask a question of you Necchi fans - what does this machine do? Straight stitch and zig zag? I don't have, nor have I ever owned a Necchi! I am looking for a machine for my granddaughter in a small cabinet! She needs one she can sit down and sew on at her house without having to drag out her portable machine! I really would like to find her a Pfaff 1222!

I really want her to have a machine with some decoratice stitches - especially the triple stitch as she is always hemming jeans or making jeans into shorts! I may just give her a 401a, but I am afraid she will lose the cams! I'd rather she had a nice vintage machine that has everything built in!
