Diana

Lovely machines. Liked the treadle one and the oil can with it. I also have some oil cans amongst my hobby things.

Hi Miriam

The 320k was a really short series I have read somewhere. only about 2000 made in total! she is my go to machine, just love her!

I have a 66 too ( I thought it was a 99 as I can lift it quite easily and I read that 66-es are really not portable, just dragable) I was raised on a farm though so I suppose those bale made me stronger then most ... she is really pretty but you all have seen so many of those.

I have a husqvarna viking from the 2000 series but I count her as semi modern lol '78 or so

Thanks
the can is so sweet!
it had leaked and kept everything in the box oiled and rust free :)

There are two easy ways to tell: measure the length of the bed (66 is 8 1/8" from memory, 99 is less than 8"), or look up the serial number(http://www.ismacs.net).

I found http://www.sandman-collectibles.com/...r-machines.htm fun to play with.

Envious over your 320k. There's one for sale in Aus now, but it's pick-up only in Queensland :(

Rust free is very good!! I have some attachments that are so seized with rust, I'm not sure they're resurrectable (new word).

Ha! sounds like a challenge to me! Go for it, clean them up, make their lazy butts work!

Thinking Evaporust to try to unseize them. Just need the time. Gonna do some older bobbins as well.

the bed is 14.5 inches...

I lucked out completely with the 320, in a thrift store for 12 dollars (( 100 swedish crowns), complete and running but the foot pedal burnt out after a while. all she needed was a clean and some oil. She was what got me hooked on vintage machines
