Her Serial number is EV955299. When I looked it up, it says that number should be a 328K. I have read the charts wrong before, so can someone check it. Am I looking at the wrong one?

Also any suggestions on Names? I have never named a machine before, but I think this beauty needs one. :-)

Jackie, the serial # on my white FW is EV952887, alloted 5/13/64. Yes, there is another chart but I forget where I found it. Our machines must be cousins!

Iowa used to be my favorite hunting grounds--I have a lot of machines that originally came from there. The 500 pictured is missing it's top. Mine was missing it's top as well, but I eventually found a parts 503 and used the top from it. It might take a while, but they are out there.

Seems to have been painted to me. But what do I know, right? :-)

Go to this web page. EC posted it. I went to look at the dating of my FW. There was some stuff on there about the crinkle machines.

Anna, I hope ours will turn out as good as yours. I sewed on it today and it was the first time I tried one. Took a few tries before I was able to get me feet working. My left foot didn't know what my right hand was doing. I'll take more pic of the others as soon as the sun shines long enough to get them. 8-)

She is very pretty and I like the name you picked. I name all of ours.

I vote for the FW being a repaint with Krylon or it was a refurb from years back by a sewing machine repair shop.

Only a few real Wrinkle finish 221Ks out there and they will break the bank if they have the documentation with them.

This one lacks all of that.

I thought it was too good to be true. It does look like it was done with a spray can. What a shame!!!
