I am looking to purchase a 1924 Singer Model 99 Sewing machine. The owner says it has been used a lot. It doesn't have any attachments. Attachments are readily available aren't they?

Yes, I do somewhere. I will look for them and try to post. Maybe get some feedback about it. It's not the most beautiful as far as wear and tear, but it's in super working order and comes with a 1 year warrenty #AH974373. It comes with all the attachments, manual, and case. What do you think?

I just put a deposit on this lovely machine today. We are going tomorrow with the truck to bring her home. I don't know if the link will show up. If not, I'll post a picture. To say I am excited is quite the understatement. It needs a belt and probably a cleaning but we were able to test drive without thread and it all seems to work so I'm hoping it will just need a sprucing up. And, as a sign it was meant to be, the serial number starts with my initials! How cool is that!! And the other good part is that it is only $135. I'll post more pictures when we get Her home. |
