Jokir44, I clicked on reply. This box came up. I'm typing my response. There is no B I U Font Size, etc. Just a gray rectangular box that says Quick Reply with a return arrow. What in the world am I doing wrong??

No. Still trying.
I know sometimes they don't show for me. It seems sometimes if the page hasn't fully loaded it will let me start a reply, but not the things that show in the grey top of the box where you type. It just takes some time for them to load. It just happened to me, but when I had my mouse hovered over the top of the box (not the one in line with the "Quick Reply" but just below that) it gave me some boxes that tell what the icons do. Then they filled in as shown in the screen shots that I linked to. What kind of computer are you using? I have a PC not a Mac. I know I have been having trouble with the pages loading for about week. I'm also sending you a pm. Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do. |
I just did some research and see you were using a PC so the instructions should work.
There are a few different bobbin shuttles, but are similar. http://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_mach...ion-manual.pdf Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do. |

Here are the pictures of the machine and serial number. I know I have seen some discussion about the type of plugs this machine uses, but can't find them now. Another manual for the treadle http://www.singerco.com/uploads/down...e-rotary-x.pdf
I'm not sure if there is a manual for the FR electric. Some links about different plugs - https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...e-t238279.html https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...e-t244547.html https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...ml#post6467493 Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do. I'm curious. How do you know I'm using a PC?

There is another manual at http://ismacs.net/white/manuals/white-rotary.pdf again it is for the treadle.
As seen in some of the threads about White rotary machines, it will show that they have a specific bobbin case and bobbins. It may have bobbins in the accessory box and maybe someone put the bobbin case in there, too. For me, that wouldn't be a deal breaker. Also I notice the T-shirt plate is there, which is a good thing. The links in my post #2 should help. NZquilter's machine even though made by White does have a different plate. I was hoping someone might have or know where to get an manual for an electric machine.
