Default Sewhandy 20-10 Take-a-part

I just picked up a 1950's Singer 20-10 to give to my wife for Christmas. It may be the only sewing/quilting related item she doesn't already have in her sewing room. It's pretty clean, but the hand wheel doesn't turn as smoothly as I think it should.

I'd like to take it apart, just enough to clean and lube the mechanism. I've ordered copies of the owner's manual and the Singer adjustment manual off of eBay, but I'd certainly appreciate any warnings or recommendations anyone might have before I get started on it. Thanks!

Make sure all the mechanical parts are well oiled and lubed. You manual, when it arrives, will tell you where each of those points are located. I am sure she will just love it .
