Default National Two Spool treadle machine

I was given one in a beautiful cabinet, looks like it has never been used. But the bobbin canister is missing. Anyone know where I may buy one?

Those are very difficult to find. Ebay or it's kin may be your best bet.

I've been looking online. They sure are hard to find. I think my choice will be having one made by a machinist. It was made by a workman to begin with so it can be made again.

Do as much research as you can. I think I read that there are three different cans that were used. Not sure if they are interchangeable.

Thanks, I'll keep looking. I'm afraid her mother's grandmother who owned the machine may have put the canister up for safe keeping and of course no one knew what it was if found.
