I started up a photobook album with pics for the rummage sale.
I don't have the prices yet as I don't have them myself. I'll add them as soon as I get them.
I will also add descriptions to them as soon as I get them as well.
Not all of the sewing machines that have been donated are shown here. ... the green Bell machine is getting tuned up. Before they sell any machine, they test them and if they need any repairs at all, a woman that fixes machines donates her time and restores them. It's a great they have her to do it.

If you go Friday, I strongly suggest getting there several hours ahead of time. There are long waits to get in to each of the departments... that's why I stopped going when the sale was open to the public. I didn't mind paying the upcharge when things are priced so well - I know they sell the fabric for about a buck a yard roughly. If for some reason you want to go on Thursday for the friends and family day, let me know and I can arrange some passes for you and your sister ;)
This rummage sale is massive. Each area is separated by department - furniture, toys, games, housewares, mens, women's, crafts, linens, sports, etc.
My mother sent me more information about the machines - but no prices. I don't know why she didn't write down the prices. I am sure that she will get the prices to me right away. I am going to update that photobucket album with the info and I'll post here when I do get that done. She did send me model info. I just don't want to have to edit those pics twice ;)

My gosh, there are several Singer 301's at that sale. the black, long-bed are fairly scarce items. if you live close & want a machine for classes (straight-stitch only), slant needle, drop feed dog for FM. excellent, excellent machines. wish I were close to bid & buy. Smitty

I would be very glad to obtain one of the long bed 301s, especially if it had a case. Tan would be nice if available.
Is there an acceptable way for any of us to purchase a machine without being in New Jersey?

They will not ship these machines. They're at a rummage sale. I was just sent even more pictures - and some prices.
Sadly I don't have time to update all the pics in the photobucket or be able to figure out what price goes with what machine... Maybe in the spring my mother will get it together lol.
Kayser coffin treadle: In very good condition. Nice inlaid wood work on both the table part and the coffin lid. Stenciling in good shape. It could use a good cleaning. I didn't have time to clean any of the machines this sale.($200 obo)

It is in a small wooden cabinet, but it's the head that is what's great about it.

Appears to be missing the bobbin housing but we did have it sewing just the stitch was not right. Maybe we'll find the missing part.
All these machines are in working order.
I also have 2 old Singers with bent wood cases. One has been just re-wired and ready to go. Great machine.
The other one is on the work bench to be re-wired, but looks like it would work.
Then I have the little green Bell machine. Clare took it home to see if she could adjust the tension a little so it would sew smoother. It is in a small wooden case. Has attachments and book. Even has the original inspection paper from the factory. It was inspected on October 25, 1954.
