    LOL! I picked up one in a cabinet at SA for $15. Someone attempted to "fix" it. The cost of the missing parts are more than the machine's worth. I'm considering taking it apart as a learning experience. I may resort your solution if it becomes too frustrating.

    Miriam, I had a good laugh over that tonight. We all need to vent sometimes and that seems to be the best way, so no one gets hurt. Loved your CL ad also, wonder how many dummies will want it.

    Old people shouldn't get carried away - I hurt all over this morning... and DH probably does too, he did most of the damage. It sure took my mind off things for a while...

    I love this: Sometimes when something is stuck and even DH can't get it loose, I tell him the same thing "Never underestimate the power of an old woman" and then I attack it. It always works !!
