my dogs would not shut up if they saw "Sheila" in my sewing room. I had a wrought iron cowboy "seen often as though leaning" in my sewing room for safe-keeping. A friend wanted to give it to her husband for a birthday surprise. I threw a sheet over it and my dogs almost attacked it.

When I saw this posted on CL I just had to share it.
I can see "Sheila" wearing a long summer gown, scarf tossed loosely around her neck, summer straw hat and sunglasses. Then for winter a different wardrobe.......
She would fit right in at my household as I have a 3'+ tall rooster standing by my front door to greet visitors........... His name is Phred - originally he was named Fred as I didn't think I knew any "Fred's" but then I realized that was my sister's FIL's name - so I just changed the spelling. You know how it is when you get used to a name.....

Hark back to the movie "Psycho". Went to the movie and came home to discover the house was unlocked! In a panic I ran around opening all the closet doors, etc. Hubbs was helping me when I saw him jump about a foot. He had found my "Sheila" in the closet, dressed, and standing at attention. After his heart slowed down, we had a good laugh!
