I suggest you call her "Your Royal Highness Madame Singer". She's a beaut.

My first thought was Eboni.
I've named all my vintage machines after women in my family, 2 grandmothers, mother, dear aunt and little granddaughter.

Use her for a while. She'll name herself.

Obsidian because she rocks......and if she ever is a bit onrey you can accidently say obstinate

Obsidian is a natural occuring black glasslike rock formed by cooling lava flow. it is a black/clear great looking like the finish on your machine.

I thought about Obsidian, but that is my black cat's name. I call her Sid. I don't know why I am having trouble with a name. All my other machines were easy to name.
