Singer 40K TSM
Hi,
Recently got from ebay my first toy sewing machine, a Singer 40K made in the early 60's. I wasn't sure what to expect quality wise but must admit I'm pretty impressed for what it is. She makes a very nice chain stitch and has an interesting looper / hook which is referred to nodding or rocking. The 40K uses a 24x3 needle which is no longer made though I have enough for my life time. She's also heavy for her small size, the base is cast iron. A neat, well made and designed toy.
