Default Singer 99-13 won't fit in case with repro Handcrank!?

Without drilling a hole into the bentwood case lid is there any fix or way to make my singer 99-13 fit in its case with a repro hand crank on it? Any help or suggestions are much appreciated, Thank you!

Are you trying this with the handle on the crank released and folded down? There's a little spring loaded pin over the silver bar which you can pull out and fold the handle down.

You can do this on a Repro crank? and have the lid still connect?

Oh wow, it DOES fold down and under! I am a dunce! Thank you SOOO MUCH. But I just added the aftermarket motor back. So I think for now I'll use the motor and then when I get bored with that switch back lol
