Thanks to you both. Those big pictures really show the condition of my pieces - worse than I realized. It is nice to know there are a few machines out there. I had heard about 11 and 1 o'clock but thanks to your great pictures now I understand. Just for fun I looked at the link in French - back a million years ago I did take French for 4 years and surprisingly I was able to discern a lot of it but then we did concentrate more on the written than the spoken. Here on the West Coast back then almost no one spoke French. I am having fun learning about the vintage machines.

I have a 348 and wondered why no one ever talked about it either but then I found out it was only produced for 1 - 2 years.
