My best friend had 2. She wanted me to have one of them. I told her "No" that it was too expensive of a gift. She said "The heck it is - I paid 5.00 for it at a yard sale 20 years ago. Take it." So I did.

I paid $29.95 at Goodwill for a 1954 black with attachments and case - all excellent condition with only minor wear. Second one (1948 black) was a Craig's List posting at $150. She accepted $60 after several calls from prospective buyers hung up uninterested as there were no attachments, manual, or case. I found attachments for less than $15 and a generic soft-sided case for $2.

I found my "Anna" at a yard sale quite by accident--walked it 2 times and did not see her until I sat down in a chair
on that hot day. I paid $15.00 for her and her case. Hubby fixed the plug and she runs like a dream. I had looked for
so long and could just not afford the higher prices. It was meant to be. She is named after my Granny which is where
I got my love of sewing.

I paid $350 each for both of my Featherweights. One is a 1938 in superb condition with attachments, oilcan, case + keys and the other is a 1950 Centennial also in superb condition with everything. I love them and use them often!

Prices are all over the place - but they are definitely going UP every day. I've bought 7 and sold 4 and never have a problem finding a buyer - just don't like to ship - so I sell to local area buyers only.

I paid $123 for the first one (1947) and paid $100 and drove 3 hours each way to get my little 1936 baby. I love them both!
