I'm biased, I like the black ones best. I just think they're the prettiest, with all the blingy decals and chrome and the shiny black body.

But if I found a white or beige one for a good deal, you can bet I'd snap it right up! I'd like to play with a white one just to see all the differences. But I'm really in love with my little black beauty, wear marks and all.

Too bad it doesn't have a few more photos that are more close up. Nice day for a drive and if it's all good, not a bad price. They want between $300.00- $450.00 down here with attachments (some).

From just looking at the post, do you think it's worth the price?

Of course, I've always imagined "my" Featherweight would be black...and what I really want is a potted-motor 201 (to give to my niece!).

It does seem a bit pricey but that all depends on the area. I bought my white one for $30.00 many years ago, at a yard sale. I'm sure they did not have a clue what they had. Mine sews beautifully and I take it to our quilt group every week.

I didn't care much for sewing but it was pretty decent. For your neice..u r better off finding a 301, 201 at a more decent price
nwm50-My white one has a belt and was made in the 60's.
