What sewing machine do I have?
Hello everyone. Right now I couldn’t tell you anything about anything having to do with sewing other than it happens with thread and a needle.
With that said. An elderly neighbor was throwing this away and I couldn’t let that happen so I took it home. I just need to know exactly what it is so I can search and figure out how to clean it up and use it. I’ve plugged it in and it seems to work( idk stuff moves when I press the thigh peddle)
Thank you for any and all help.

Yes, a 15-91. The wiring does look stuff and brittle. Even tho the outer casing may not be broken, likely the inner insulation is crumbly. SewClassic has replacement cords, as well as wire for the lamp. The compression rings (3) on the lamp are a bit of a hassle to remove and reinstall, there's a tool for that which helps immensely.
Sewing machine oil on the exterior will do wonders, as will a metal polish on the shiny bits.
With a potted motor, the grease cups may need some attention. Clean out, and replace with petroleum jelly.

Very strong machine. It can go through a lot of layers.
