Default SMAD stikes again - more feet!

This just arrived in the mail.

The ebay seller wrote " A few are marked Greist. I did not see any marked Singer."

Which is correct - except that the needle threader is stamped Singer. Interestingly - the box has the holders for a different clamping style of foot than any of those included with it.

I needed the back clamp hemmer foot and the quilter foot to complete my third set - and this was cheaper than buying those two feet separately. Though I'm still not sure why I wanted the third set (they are all different) as I only have two back clamp machines . . . I'll blame it on the SMAD.

if you are curious, SMAD stands for Sewing Machine Attachment Disorder. I've got an acute case of it!

I have one 66 red eye with the back clamp feet and one set of feet and attachments for it. What I need a treadle cabinet for the machine. Poor thing is homeless.

According to "Singer Sewing Book" (1969) p286 it's a tucker. Even shows you how to use it.

Cecilia - that is the tucker attachment.

Singer made several styles before they settled on this type. I think I have one with patent 1913 on it, and from then on, the Singer one stayed about the same.

There are several moving parts that do come apart, and it's not uncommon to find them without everything there.

Here it is all apart

And the three styles of back clamp tuckers I have.

I thought you were going to say you were SMAD you got the pieces and no machine, that you went out and bought the dern machine anyway! Lol!
we all enjoy our addictions!

That's probably for when you're tuckered out but have to have the quilt done by morning. I know that one well!
