Smile Spiegle treadle...

Hi Everyone:
We are trying to repair a what we think is a Spiegle treadle. The machine doesn't have a name on it anywhere but does have the number 1468 (or 3) 178. The number has a #5 above it. It looks like the Franklin but I also saw a picture of a Spiegle but can't find it on the web now.

(Sorry am not able to post pics right now as my iPhoto is black with the SPOD symbol on it.)

Our machine has a folding top that the machine sits on.

(Below is a picture that is similar to the top of our cabinet. In the front of the machine, the wood folds down, and in the back of the machine, the wood folds down.

Ours folds down in the front where the wood folds. There is a groove on the top in the back that is connected in back with a chain which lowers the machine by a heavy iron metal bar-type structure inside the cabinet so you don't have to lift the machine in or out. We are trying to find a rod that goes across the inside front of the cabinet and some pictures of the inside of the cabinet or schematics or manual of all of it.

I hope this makes sense and someone knows this machine.
I appreciate any help and will post pictures as soon as I can.
Thanks,
