My wife made a bunch of small denim quiltets that are laying all over the house. Generally there is a cat on them. They seem to love snoozing on denim so we made them some.

    Hi Joe,

Posting pics is a weakness for me. I've only posted one so far of a vintage machine. Many machines and projects to post. Must get on it, or better yet, get up the nerve to try it again.

    Anamaria,

Here's one. It's about 30"x30", made from denim and fleece.

That is a neat way to dress up the denim. Off to a beautiful start. Would love to see it when you finish it. Thanks for sharing.

It looks like it's coming along. I like what you've done so far. .... can't wait to see the finished product.

    Sewfine, nanna-up-north,

The quilt my wife is holding in the pic above is not my "All Machines Quilt", it is the "quiltet" I mentioned on the first page. It is finished. That design is a PITA for my novice sewing skills to make, so I'm doing something else.
HERE is a front and back view of the quilt that my wife made a couple years ago. It was her first quilt and was made entirely on her Bernina 930.
    Top:

    Underside:

Here is a pic of the Bernina taking a rest and the QC inspector, Fiona, keeping tabs on things:

Wifie says there is around 360 7" denim circles and the same number of fleece squares. Lots of work both for her and the Bernina. It took her about 100 hours to make that quilt.

I did make a quilted treadle cover from that design, oh what a pain in the but!!!!!

Here is a pic of that one:

And a rear/side view of me sewing on it with my Singer 66 Treadle #1:

This should confuse this thread a bit more .... LOL.

Wow! Nice idea to use up all the denim in the box taking up space under my longarm. Now, if only I could get Mom to to embroider on them for me!
